THE CHALLENGE

Hermitage Medical Clinic struggled with a lack of visibility over its inventory, relying on outdated manual processes that required clinical teams to spend excessive time on tasks like counting stock and compiling reports. These inefficiencies not only impacted the Clinic’s operational workflow but also diverted clinicians from their primary focus – delivering exceptional patient care.

Recognising the need for change, Hermitage sought an advanced solution that would automate inventory management, reduce manual labour, and free up clinical
staff to dedicate more time to patients. Achieving GS1 compliance was a critical goal for the Clinic, as it would enhance supply chain efficiency and provide real-time
traceability for improved safety and resource management.

By implementing Genesis Point of Care, Inventory & Analytics solutions, Genesis enabled Hermitage to achieve complete clinical traceability.
